Audley Harrison in David Haye Boxing Fight

It seems that Audley Harrison is going to wait a bit longer before he can get to fight with David Haye. The hilariously cocky Haye is ready to play or fight but Harrison is out for about four months and the much anticipated fight is not one of the current issues that are going through.  I have to admit that I miss the cocky comments from Haye which must sound ludicrous even to him. Apparently Harrison injured one of his pectoral muscles as he overcame Michael Sprott for a title. It seems that an operation will be required before he is fully back on the mend. At thirty eight years of age, the injuries are to be expected but it is rather sad that he might be out for a full four months.
The season has been rather kind to Harrison because he won the European belt in the final round knockout. It seems that this win has given him the confidence to try out something new in the guise of Haye who has also had some notable wins including one with a famous giant. It would be the icing on the cake for Harrison if he managed to fell the current WBA heavyweight champion and he might actually help the public by reducing the announcements from Haye.
It also seems that there is a bit of spice in the potential meeting because the Haye camp has sought to dismiss the possibility. Perhaps some might see this as a copout but at the end of the day Haye has a right to determine his playing schedule. Usually the sparring of partners is a precursor to the real fight and I would not be entirely surprised if the Haye team made a U turn and effectively announced that they are going to play ball after all. The all British fight might bring some sparkle to the sport and ignite the ever fiery Haye into a long tirade about his abilities and techniques. It will all be good fun for the boxing fans and the commentators.
